CIC Meatless Monday Ghana on Saturday August 16, 2025 was recognised as a Program of Excellence by the Office of the Dean of Students Affairs and the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Takoradi Technical University.
This happened at the seventh annual SRC Excellence Awards ceremony of the university held at the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel, Takoradi where the Executive Director of CIC – Meatless Monday Ghana, Mr. Emmanuel Fiagbey walked the Red Carpet to receive the Excellence Award trophy on behalf of Meatless Monday Ghana.
The SRC Excellence Awards 2025 was presented to Meatless Monday Ghana for the project’s work at the university in promoting healthy eating among students and the university community through the Meatless Monday program.
In return, CIC-Meatless Monday Ghana presented each of the over 700 participants at the ceremony a specially branded Meatless Monday Reminder Card to encourage healthy eating and healthy living.
The participants included lecturers, students and representatives of private sector companies and other businesses who sponsored the event.
